No surprises at check-out. Everything below is what you pay and what we ask.
Standard rate
Our usual rate in both apartments. Minimum rates and minimum stays apply, and rates vary by season and demand — the booking system shows live pricing for your dates.
Single weeknight
A single midweek night carries an additional cleaning fee, which this rate includes. Single nights are not available on Friday or Saturday.
Midweek special
Stay two or more weeknights out of season with two or more guests and we take 10% off the accommodation.

The Loft
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the whole Maluti range off the patio.
The Studio
A one-bedroom cottage tucked behind the shop, with a corner bath and a private garden patio.
Across both apartments we can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and 3 children. Additional daybeds are charged at half the normal rate. A camping cot is available on request.
The fine print
House policies.
- Minimum stays No single-night stays on Friday or Saturday nights. Minimum stays apply over weekends, long weekends, school holidays and peak seasons.
- Confirmation The full amount is required to confirm your accommodation.
- Your party Only the number of guests you booked and paid for may stay on the premises or use the facilities. If your group changes, please arrange it with us before you arrive.
- Housekeeping Servicing is R100 per day on request. Stay three nights or longer and free servicing is included every third day.
- Gas fireplace · The Studio Please arrange a 9 kg gas cylinder with us in advance at R385 — local supply is limited in the depths of winter.
- Check-in & check-out Self check-in with clear instructions sent before you travel. Contact us if you need to arrive late or leave early and we will do what we can.
- Smoking & pets Both apartments are non-smoking. We are unable to accommodate pets.
Cancellations
Our cancellation policy is strict.
We are a small operation and a cancelled weekend is rarely re-booked, so please be sure of your dates before confirming.

Common questions.
Our rates start at R675 per person per night sharing, with minimum rates and minimum stays applying. A single weeknight is R1500 per night, which includes an additional cleaning fee. Stay two or more weeknights out of season and you save 10%.
Yes. Single-night stays are not available on Friday or Saturday nights. Minimum stays apply over weekends, long weekends, school holidays and peak seasons. Midweek single nights are possible at the single-night rate.
Across both apartments we can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and 3 children. The Loft sleeps 4, with a daybed in the lounge for a fifth guest or child at half the normal rate. The Studio sleeps 2, with extra beds possible on the corner couch for small children and a camping cot on request.
More than one month before arrival, 50% is refunded. More than two weeks before arrival, 25% is refunded. Less than two weeks before arrival, no refund is given. Full payment is required to confirm a booking.
Servicing is R100 per day on request. If you stay three nights or longer, free servicing is included every third day. Laundry can be arranged on site by special request, or at Clarens Laundry in the village.
