I would give it 10 stars if possible. One of our best stays in Clarens. Anel was responsive from the day we booked and provided an elaborate guideline on how to arrive at her place and all things necessary to make our stay comfortable. The Studio is pure perfection! Everything is clean and well looked after. We paid ahead for the gas fireplace which is a wonderful addition, particularly in winter. The bed is VERY comfy and the shower works perfectly! We found the kitchen to be extremely well stocked for every meal option!
The location of The Studio is also excellent. It is central enough to be able to walk around Clarens easily, but set back from the main street
so it is very quiet and private.
Anél is a friendly hostess and very responsive to messages. She kept me in the loop about events and is a nice, friendly person in general. Thank you Anèl for the perfect stay, we will most definitely book with you for future Clarens breaks.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the loft. The property was comfortable, clean, cosy and with beautiful views. Everything you’d need is provided, the fire place and heated blankets worked a treat on a chilly evenings. On warm days the balcony with Mountain View’s was wonderful. Sofas and beds were incredibly comfortable.
Our host was extremely welcoming, responsive and helpful. Our flight was cancelled and Anel allowed us to stay longer at her property as well as recommend other places to stay. We were central enough to always have access to restaurants and shops but tucked away slightly so that it was still peaceful.

This is probably the nicest and also best value AirBNB we've stayed at... spacious, clean, comfortable, secure, 20 second walk to the main square. It is awesome. The views from the deck are amazing as well. This place has it all, and more!
Plus, Anel is a great host. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!

We've been visiting Clarens for more than 10 years and go at least once a year. The Studio was the best accommodation we've ever had, considering all things. Spotless, tasteful decorations and furnishings, everything one needs whether you are self-catering or dining out. Great bed, bathroom and the kitchen has everything you need. The gas fireplace in the living space is a welcome addition for those colder winter days.
You are in the center of town, yet, just out of the hustle bustle over a busy weekend. Easy access to everything, no need to use your vehicle once you have arrived.
Check-in was easy and Anel was always available for questions or suggestions. She is a SUPERHOST!
Definitely staying here again in future.

We had a wonderful stay in Clarens and this was largely because of Anel's superb accommodation. The Loft is spacious, very tastefully decorated and is equipped with everything you need. The unit was immaculate when we arrived. We never noticed loadshedding while in the unit because it is powered by solar power and an inverter and geysers and stove work on gas. They have jo-jo tanks for storing water in case of municipal water supply issues. It is very centrally located and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The patio has great views of the surrounding mountains and we enjoyed having sundowners on it every evening. Anel recommended the walking trails in the conservancy that surrounds the village and these are well worth it. You need a permit (R30 per person, valid for 7 days), and a map is useful - both of these are available from Clarens Interiors. We would love to visit Clarens again and our preferred accommodation would definitely be The Loft!
